How We Make Money

Right now, Solo and Sure makes no money. There are no ads and no affiliate links on the site.
What may change
To keep the guides free, we may add two things later:
- Display ads. Clearly labeled "Advertisement" and kept apart from the guide text.
- Affiliate links. If you buy through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
If either is added, this page will be updated first, and any guide with affiliate links will say so near the top, before the first link.
What won't change
- Rankings are never paid. No company can pay to be listed, ranked higher, or reviewed more kindly.
- Advertisers don't see or shape guides before they are published.
- Expert reviewers check accuracy only. They don't endorse products, and they aren't paid for referrals.
Why we tell you
We want you to know who benefits when you click. This disclosure is meant to meet the expectations of the US Federal Trade Commission and the Competition Bureau of Canada: clear, easy to find, and placed before the link it applies to.
